Rocks State Park

30 sec read

Rocks State Park is located north of Baltimore in Jarrettsville, MD. The main section of the park has more than three miles of hiking trails with in several blazed loops. One of the main reasons to hike in the park is to visit the cliff overhang called the King and Queen Seat. This rock formation is 190 feet high and gives a nice view of the area. The northernmost section of the park is the site of Kilgore Falls, the second highest waterfall in Maryland. The hike to the falls is very easy and is about a mile to and from the falls.

For more information and trail maps, visit the Rocks State Park website.
