Taylor’s Antique Mall is one of the biggest antique shops in Ellicott City. The store takes up several connected buildings and has a large basement. A lot of dealers exhibit their antiques here, so the shop has different stuff all the time. Most of the merchandise is what you would expect. The store has a lot of furniture and dishes. In the front of the store there is also sports memorabilia including Baltimore Ravens statues.
My favorite part of the store is the back section. A lot of the art came from artists who live in Ellicott City. If you need a any more reasons to visit the shop, just walk downstairs. When I went, there was a mannequin that looks like the Terminator. There is also a mannequin that looks like Captain Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek!
