Forget Me Not Factory

The Forget Me Not Factory was an experience. I went there on a cold day when not many other shops in Ellicott City were open yet. The first thing I noticed were the fairies and unicorns in the windows. When I came to the city in the summer, there was usually a costumed man blowing bubbles outside of this store. I lost any doubts about the store when I saw the logo. It has a fairy kissing a heart.

This store is overwhelming, because it is packed from floor to ceiling. On the first two floors, almost everything is related to fairies. There are costumes, calendars, wind chimes, figurines—you name it. Even the music that plays throughout the store fits right in. In general, everything in the store is related to fantasy themes.

Thankfully, the store had some stuff that interested me. On the first floor there was a wizard that tells fortunes and an awesome bubble gum machine right next to it. On the third floor I found one of those ghost pianos that plays itself (if you pay). The Forget Me Not Factory also has antiques including clothing and furniture. This was the first store where I found historic Ellicott City souvenirs. In the end, I bought a historic Ellicott City shotglass and some postcards.
