The Trolley Stop

The Trolley Stop

Last Friday, I went to Ellicott City to find something good to eat. It was a cold day, so I didn’t want to walk that far. I found out that most places don’t open until around 12 PM.  I walked all the way through main street to find something open. I saw the restaurant The Trolley Stop just beyond the bridge. There was a party and a lot of people were going upstairs, so I went to the main restaurant. The first thing I noticed was the bar, but it was too early to drink. There weren’t many people downstairs except for a few groups of retired people.  I sat by the window and ordered lunch. The whole place reminded me of a brick cabin since it has exposed wooden beams on the ceiling and a large fireplace in the back. Overall, the service was good and I enjoyed my lunch. I really like the relaxed atmosphere and I would definitely come back. It’s some of the best food I’ve had in a while.
